When I book in your logo design, your first Invoice will be sent to you, 7 days prior to starting your project. Payment of this first invoice is needed for work to begin on your project.
LOGO DESIGN BRIEF
Before we get started with your logo, I need to pick your brain! I’ll send you a questionnaire to get an in-depth look at your business, so I can strategically plan your identity. This brief will be sent to you once you confirm your project.
1. LOGO DESIGN BRIEF
To ensure we’re on the same page from the very beginning, I ask you to complete a comprehensive logo design brief before I start sketching. Tell me what you like, what you don’t like, and what you want to achieve with your brand. This brief is like the bible for your logo design.
2. INDUSTRY RESEARCH
A logo is the end result of a detailed strategy and research – and it all starts here. I use the information in your brief to research your competitors, analyse your target market, and look closely at industry trends. From there I formulate a design plan that will deliver on your objectives.
3. MOOD BOARD
This is where the fun begins! I present you with a mood board showing my ideas and concepts for your brand. Your mood board includes font styles, colours, textures and design elements that I think will define your business.
4. DIGITAL SKETCHES/ROUGHS
Armed with my research and your feedback from the mood board, I produce rough digital sketches of three logo design concepts. This is your chance to provide further direction before I begin to refine the designs.
5. DESIGN REFINEMENT
This is where I put the finishing touches on your logo design concepts. I send them to you for final review and ask you to choose one design. For most clients, choosing one design is the hardest part of the logo design process!
Your completed, approved logo design is prepared for print and web output. Once final payment is received, all your files are uploaded to a Dropbox folder. This includes logo files, fonts and your style sheet (or style guide) – everything you need to share your new brand with the world.
A logo design project usually takes between 2-4 weeks, however can take longer depending on how quick you are with your decision making and returning correspondence!
