Sharon Parker is the owner and head interior designer of White With One Interior Design, based in the suburb of Newport, Melbourne, Victoria. Sharon’s business specialises in renovations, makeovers and sourcing beautiful furniture.
Sharon had been running her business on the side of having a full-time role for the past 10 years. Having recently left her job to commit to her business, Sharon wanted to update her existing identity and re-launch her brand to step up and step into the next phase of her career.
Sharon explains: “With a solid 16+ years working in residential design & construction, I’ve loved every minute and have worked with some amazing clients and businesses. But over time I began feeling lost and often questioned my purpose. Had I succumbed to the corporate ladder and forgot about my values? Did I lose sight of what truly makes me happy, and had this compromised my design abilities?”
“Earlier this year I realised that perhaps I’d taken a wrong turn. I’d spent so long investing in other people’s businesses that I forgot about my own. I needed to get back to “grass roots”” says Sharon.
The White with Once Interior design branding package included a logo design, business cards, letterhead, social media tile templates for Canva, as well as a one-page introductory brochure which Sharon could give out to potential clients to advertise her products and services.
Sharon described her design style as Australian coastal vibe mixed with city chic. “Think Bali, Bondi & Byron” says Sharon. Her new logo and identity was to be clean and simple with a hint of luxury, incorporating black, white, grey, blue and greens. The branding also had to incorporate pops of natural textures, such as wood and a hint of Australiana – Proteas being a favourite.
The Project started with a mood board and colour palette development, which would set the tone for the logo and other brand collateral. Sharon already had an extensive Pinterest board collection, so it was easy for me to grasp Sharon’s style and the direction she wanted to take her new branding.
Once the mood board and colour palette was approved, it was onto the logo development!
White space is a feature in this minimalist, classy brand. Nude, navy and charcoal feature within the Logo; while eucalyptus, cotton and grey accents appear sparingly throughout the supporting touchpoints.
“Tiffany has been instrumental in helping me not only identify my brand but deliver a story that my clients can relate to. I’m based interstate and thought the distance would be an issue, but Tiffany has always been prompt in her communications with great turnaround times. Nothing has ever been an issue and she’s always on hand to offering advice & flexibility.” says Sharon.
