Amanda is a copywriter and owner of Brand Injection, based in Cooranbong (near Newcastle), NSW.
Amanda already had an existing logo and identity, but recently decided to niche her copywriting business and required a brand re-alignment strategy to appeal to her new target clientele – the real estate industry.
To start, Amanda and I jumped onto skype and Amanda told me all about her business, where she had been and where she was heading. We went through her competitors, styles she liked and her goals for her new branding.
After our consult call, we decided to take her brand to a professional level, while keeping a small creative flair (She is a copywriter after all!)
The best way to tackle Amanda’s new brand alignment was to start with a mood board. Amanda wanted to keep her current brand colours (Orange and charcoal), so I used the mood board to explore different textural elements and fonts to give Amanda’s brand the punch and personality it needed. Amanda also mentioned she LOVED vintage & rustic styling – but with a modern take.
Once Amanda was happy with the mood board, I went on to create a few new logo concepts with professional fonts to appeal to her new target market. Amanda then choose a concept she loved to take through to final development.
As part of her brand alignment strategy, I also developed a one-page mock-up of her copy proposal and a social media post example, to show how Amanda’s new branding should be used, combined with the new textural elements and colour hues.
A classy, professional logo cements Amanda’s place as Cooranbong’s go to real estate copywriter. Burnt orange paired with charcoal leverages Amanda’s love of Vintage & Rustic styling – while keeping to the modern real estate market.
